In late March of 2020, Fender discontinued support for the Fender Fuse website. This included the takedown of thousands of Fender Fuse Mustang V2 patches as well as their Fender Fuse software. The reason for the takedown is that Fender is pushing their Mustang GT and Mustang GTX series of amplifiers and are in a way forcing people to buy something new.

Tone uses Bluetooth, Fuse uses USB. Fuse still works for most people so get your signal chains tweaked to a point you're happy with before it stops working. Once it stops working, you'll only be able to use the knobs on the amp. Fine for basic tweaks, or changing modulation, but unfortunately not much help for fuzz and some other effects. All development of Fender Fuse has clearly been halted, as they have moved on to the new “GT” line of Mustang amps and the new Fender “Tone” app (which is NOT backwards compatible with the earlier Mustang series amps). Fender Tone doesn’t run on Linux (or Windows/MAC either for that matter). It’s available for Android and IOS only. My Mustang Monday Patches

Thanks to my old series of videos on YouTube called “Mustang Monday“, I had over 400,000 downloads of my custom presets when I last checked about 5 months ago. Sadly, I never had the all backed up on my own computer because of a hard drive failure. The good news is I reached out to the community on YouTube and have received hundreds of emails. Included in these emails were lots of patches that I am making available for you to download.

There are a lot of people to thank for this who sent in emails with my custom Fender Fuse Mustang V2 patches as well as many more. Feel free to host these files somewhere else for download, just don’t copy and paste my entire page. Thanks.

Release of OSXFUSE 2.3.0 Posted on 25 Jul 2011

This is the first public release of OSXFUSE, a successor to MacFUSE. OSXFUSE 2.3.0 is a beta release and may contain bugs.

Features

OSXFUSE is based on Tuxera's MacFUSE 2.1.9 release, that has proven to be reasonably stable. MacFUSE 2.1.9 can be obtained from Tuxera.
Features a MacFUSE compatibility layer to support existing MacFUSE file systems without the need to recompile them. OSXFUSE can be a drop-in replacement for MacFUSE.
OSXFUSE supports Mac OS X 10.6 and 10.7 including full support for 64 bit kernels. Support for Mac OS X 10.5 (Intel/PowerPC) will be added in a future release.
OSXFUSE 2.3 follows a simple rule: If it is not broken, do not fix it. Besides rebranding as OSXFUSE and addition of the MacFUSE compatibility layer there have been few code changes.

Installing OSXFUSE

The OSXFUSE installer offers the following choices/packages:

The package 'OSXFUSE Core' includes the kernel extension, the user space C library libosxfuse and the Objective-C framework OSXFUSE.framework.
The package 'OSXFUSE Preference Pane' installs the OSXFUSE Preference Pane, which is used to update OSXFUSE or uninstall it.
The 'MacFUSE Compatibility Layer' provides support for file systems build for MacFUSE. If the MacFUSE compatibility layer is selected MacFUSE will be uninstalled automatically. MacFUSE file systems will not be removed.

OSXFUSE can be uninstalled by pressing the 'Remove OSXFUSE' button in the OSXFUSE Preference Pane. The Preference Pane itself will not be uninstalled by this step and has to be removed manually by secondary-clicking on 'FUSE for OS X' in System Preferences and selecting 'Remove FUSE for OS X Preference Pane'.
